his photo is nomontage, the animal
really existed. It cropped up in a
breeding farm for slider turtles. Both the
creature’s heads were able to move and
feed independentlyof one another.
The photo was taken in August 2002 and
waspublished inNews48,when the turtle (a
Yellow-Bellied Slider, Trachemys scripta
scripta)was sixmonths old. Itwas soldat a
reptile show. We won’t reveal the price
here......
